3. MISCELLANEOUS

Approval of miscellaneous items pg. licenses,

vouchers and contracts.

4. FIRE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL

Question of promoting Fire Lt. John T. Radley to Fire Captain

5. ANNUAL APPOINTMENTS

Question of making annual appointments, as recommended by the Town Administrator, of department heads, administrators and other officials and employees and of setting the salaries therefore effective July 1, 2009.

6. MUDDY RIVER RESTORATION

Question of authorizing a schedule for the restoration of the Carlton Street Footbridge for submittal to the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs for the purpose of executing the Phase I MOU

7. VIDEO CAMERAS

Further discussion of the Video Camera Monitoring policy.

Question of approving funding allocations for projects eligible for funding under the federal Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program

9. OPEB’s TASK FORCE REPORT

Presentation of the final report and recommendation of the Task Force on Other Post Employment Benefits.

10. 8:00 P.M. LIQUOR LICENSE HEARING

Hearing Pursuant to General Laws Chapter 138, Section 64, on the issue of whether or not to modify, suspend, revoke or cancel the All Kinds of Liquor License as a Common Victualler held by Choe’s Café d/b/a Minsok at 92 Harvard Street.

11. LIQUOR LICENSE HEARING

Hearing Pursuant to General Laws Chapter 138, Section 64, on the issue of whether or not to modify, suspend, revoke or cancel the Wine and Malt beverages license as a Package Store held by Battie Family Inc. d/b/a The Brookline Spa at 75 Harvard Street.

12. LIQUOR LICENSE HEARING

Hearing Pursuant to General Laws Chapter 138, Section 64, on the issue of whether or not to modify, suspend, revoke or cancel the All Kinds of Liquor License as a Common Victualler held by Golden Temple, Inc. d/b/a Golden Temple at 1643-1641 Beacon Street.

13. LIQUOR LICENSE HEARING

Hearing Pursuant to General Laws Chapter 138, Section 64, on the issue of whether or not to modify, suspend, revoke or cancel the All Kinds of Liquor License as a Common Victualler held by Matt Murphy’s Pub, Inc., d/b/a Matt Murphy’s at 14 Harvard Street.

14. Question of approving the minutes of June 16, 2009.

15. Question of approving and executing a contract with SEA Consultants in the amount of $41,956.00 for updating the conceptual 25% design and cost estimates for the restoration of the Carlton Street Footbridge.

16. Question of authorizing adjustments of the allocations of the Town's notes on the St. Aidan's project"

17. Question of accepting the following grants totaling $18,000 award to the Recreation Department from the Brookline Community Foundation:

Brookline Youth Fund $9,000

BCF Discretionary Fund $9,000

18. Question of setting hourly rates for Labor Counsel effective July 1, 2009.

19. Question of granting a temporary All Kinds of Alcoholic beverages license to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Demetrios Papaslis, President in connection with a Church Festival to be held on September 11th, 12th and 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. at 162 Goddard Avenue.
